CORN: New corn purchased (Oct – Nov) will be shrunk 2 ½% per point to 15% moisture breaking on the .10%. NO drying charges. Moisture will be averaged, but you cannot bring in dry corn to be averaged in with your wet corn.
Storage corn shrunk to 14% with 1.5% shrink factor breaking on the .10%.
Drying Charges: 4 cents per point of moisture removed from 14% - 20%, 5 cents per point with moisture from 20.1% - 25% and 6 cents per point over 25%.
Drying charges figured on wet bushels and weighted average moisture, payable at end of harvest. On all sealed grain, the drying charges are to be paid before a warehouse receipt will be issued.
BEANS: New beans purchased (Oct – Nov) will be shrunk to 13% with 2% per point shrink breaking on .10%. This discount is 2/3 of processor’s discount in Sioux City. We will gladly take 14% -15% beans. With our discount, this makes economical sense instead of harvesting 10% beans.
Storage beans shrunk to 12% breaking on .10%. No beans will be accepted over 15%. Moisture on Beans will NOT be averaged onto contract applied bushels or stored bushels.
FM in beans will be deducted from 1.0% and up. A PREMIUM OF 3 CENTS PER BUSHEL ON A PER LOAD BASIS FOR BEANS WITH LESS THAN .5% FM.
Grain in elevator not spoken for storage must be priced within 10 days.
Grain priced today will be settled TWO business days after pricing or final delivery.
STORAGE RATES: Corn - - .0015 cents per bushel per day or 4.5 cents per bushel per month
Beans - - .00175 cents per bushel per day or 5.25 cents per bushel per month
